4/24/2023 0 Comments Battle for wesnoth lichGo northside with Delfador and recruit one batch of EA, then go Southwest with all your forces. Recall all your GT+ and recruit ghosts, send them north and rush the enemy leader without drawing too much attention, with the backstab, nightstalk and skirmish abilities it should not be a problem to bring down the enemy leader. Kill everything with Delfador, when approaching the DK cover yourself with GT, keep the SD at all costs, it is recommendable to get another GT+. If you do not have any more knights in your garrison try to keep one alive at all costs. If you have SwM or Knights recall them, if not recruit MG, try to get to the castle with Delfador ASAP and watch out for gryphons. Hold northside while leveling up Delfador with the rest of your HI. Recruit only HI, send four of them down with your general to hold Southside. Do not wait for the enemy to come to you as it will result on an income swarming from the enemy behalf, use your units and the villages wisely. Try to keep a good knight for S17 at all costs (even if it costs you SwM+). Pay the humans and try to recall units that are going to level up (preferably HM). Recall vet units, use a combination of HM and SM to hold the river line (SM on front, then HM to go for the kill) once you have cleaned the enemies, push for the enemy king. It is recommendable to have one knight, but do not waste too much time or SL as it is not critical (yet). Wait for daytime and then wipe the enemy. Recall vet units and recruit HM try to not OB. HM are kind of a double-edged sword, so it is recommendable only on easier difficulties, but they are faster for sure. Recruit SM and push with all you have, cover your mages well and attack preferably with bonuses, you may get lucky and lure the enemy leader. Press ESC only once, wait for the cutscene to end. * I may use "+" after a unit's abbreviation for unit level ups * ASAP - kind of obvious, but it means "as soon as possible". * OB - Overbuy, having too many units is detrimental to time and income. This guide focuses on the Difficult difficulty of the campaign, but is applicable to any difficulty. Her former headmaster, Aimucasur, in spite of his initial hostility to necromancy, also transformed into a lich, taking on the title of Lich-Lord and resided in the Swamp of Dread.Recall one EH+ (if you have one) and any EE you have, clear the way and hold a line before triggering the lich as shown in the picture, then cover as many recruit spots as possible and finish off the LC, he should go down no problem. Ardonna, a pupil on the Isle of Alduin, sought to replicate the Lich-Lords dark arts, eventually becoming a lich herself. Though the national identity of the Wesfolk eventually disappeared with the founding of the Kingdom of Wesnoth, the legacy of the Lich-Lords did not. There he was defeated in combat by the human refugees. Jevyan began to conquer the Green Isle, but upon discovering that Prince Haldric had obtained the Ruby of Fire, followed the humans to the Great Continent. Some time after reaching the Great Continent, he became a lich himself. Malifor was disloyal to the Lich-Lords, however, and fled with the Wesfolk. During the second Wesfolk War, the Lich-Lords became desperate enough to open gateways to the old continent, allowing orcs to invade the Green Isle. The Lich-Lords took on the sorcerer Malifor as a pupil, who subsequently learned the arts of necromancy. The war ended in defeat for the Lich-Lords, and the Wesfolk withdrew to their capital, Jevyan's Haven, named after the Lich-Lord Jevyan. Also during the war, Lenvan was magically sealed within a temple's catacombs. Though the Lich-Lords' necromancy gave the Wesfolk an advantage, the war turned against them when Haldric's people succesfully utilized mages for the first time, petrifying the Lich-Lord Caror in stone along with the Book of Fire and Darkness. Upon their arrival, they encountered Haldric's people, resulting in the first Wesfolk War. The Lich-Lords lost the Wesfolk a war on the Old Continent, and a contingent of Wesfolk refugees led by the Lich-Lord Lenvan fled east to the Green Isle. They also had possession of a valuable artifact, the Ruby of Fire. Motivated by their desire for immortality, the elite of the Wesfolk became Lich-Lords upon death, while the lesser Wesfolk became their undead servants. While on the Old Continent, the Wesfolk spent many generations learning the dark arts of necromancy. The Lich-Lords were a ruling class of liches who controlled the Wesfolk. The Lich-Lord Lenvan is released from his prison. Rise, my soldiers of darkness, the world will be ours once more!
